Account Deletion

1. Sign in to your SkillNet Tamil account.
2. Open your Student Dashboard.
3. Scroll to My Profile and click Delete Account.
4. Confirm by typing “DELETE”. Your account is removed immediately.

Prefer email? Write to skillnettamil@gmail.com from your registered email address with the subject Account Deletion Request.

• Your name, mobile number and profile record
• Your submitted reviews and ratings
• Your lesson completion history
• Pending payment intents and app preferences
• Your authentication credentials and login access

Certain records must be retained to meet legal, tax, accounting and fraud-prevention obligations under Indian law:

• Invoices and payment transaction records
• Enrollment records linked to completed payments
• Audit and security logs

These records are anonymized: personal identifiers such as name, phone number and account linkage are removed. Retained records cannot be used to identify you personally.

• Immediate: Personal profile data, reviews and learning progress are removed from active systems within seconds of confirming deletion.
• Within 30 days: Residual copies in backups, caches and analytics systems are purged.
• Retained records: Anonymized accounting and legal records are kept only for the period required by law.

• You are signed out of all devices automatically.
• You will no longer receive emails, WhatsApp or app notifications from us.
• Course access is revoked — recordings, materials and certificates.
• You may create a new account in future with the same email.
